FIELDNOTES BY CANIPEP THE CANINE OBSERVATION COMMUNITY
A dog observation journal for the details that are easy to forget. Keep dates, photos and changes together. Find the context behind community results.
Dogs only · Private by default · Public sharing is optional
A NOTEBOOK FOR REAL LIFE
You do not need to be a scientist to keep a thoughtful record. Fieldnotes guides you through the details, one chapter at a time.
Create a profile, choose what you want to observe, and record the starting context. Use your existing routine; joining does not require starting any product.
Add dated observations, photos and changes. Distinguish what you measured, estimated or do not know. A missed entry stays a gap, rather than becoming a guessed result.
Revisit the record, export its integrity receipts and decide whether to request public review. You control whether your private journal is submitted for sharing.
THE COMMUNITY, IN VIEW
Explore reviewed public observations by breed, age and study notebook. Follow a summary back to its underlying record.
Open the results dashboard ↗Results describe the journals that contributors chose to share and that passed publication review. They do not represent all dogs or establish that a product caused a change. Small groups, missing follow-up and different observation methods can make comparisons misleading.
A new community may have no reviewed records for a particular filter. We do not fill those gaps with demonstration outcomes or invented success rates.
The Canitide listings organize research questions around Canipep’s product concepts. They are not clinical trial enrollment, product availability or proof of safety and effectiveness.
Open Fieldnotes and begin an entry without an account. To save it, create a free account with your email and a password, or with Google or Apple where offered. Your email stays private, and your journals begin private; public review is a separate choice.
No. You can keep observations about everyday life and existing care. Fieldnotes does not recommend starting or changing a treatment.
Linked SHA-256 receipts can help check whether an exported record has changed relative to its recorded hash. They do not prove that an observation happened, verify a contributor’s identity or provide an independent timestamp.
No. Publication review is a moderation step, not clinical validation, peer review or confirmation of cause and effect.
