What a certificate can—and cannot—tell you.

Identity, methods and traceability are a starting point. Clinical proof is a different question.

A certificate of analysis reports results for a particular sample using stated methods. Start by checking that the sample and lot can be linked to the product being discussed.

Read the method, not just the headline

Identity and purity are different questions. Ask what was tested, by which method, by which laboratory and against which specification. A single purity percentage is not a complete quality assessment.

Know what it does not prove

A certificate is not evidence of clinical effectiveness or regulatory approval. A passing sterility test alone does not validate an entire manufacturing process or establish that a product remains suitable through storage and transport.

Where the real certificates live

Canitide publishes each production lot’s certificate at canitide.com/quality as lots are released, linked from the QR on every label. Canipep does not host them; we only explain how to read them.
